There will be no Exploring Mathematics workshop this summer
The Math Department is pleased to announce the winners of this year’s Thayer Prize Exam, an annual first-year Dartmouth mathematics competition organized by our department. Congratulations to Batu Ozer ’27 (first prize), Ribhu Hooja ’27 and Connor Zhang ’27 (joint for second prize), and Billy McKittrick ’27 (third prize)! The exam consists of Mathematics Olympiad style problems, and originality and creativity are heavily weighed.
We are happy to report another successful Sonia Kovalevsky Day on Saturday, April 27, 2024! Pictured are the organizers, along with this year's otter mascots.
